Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

The Associate Director of Practice Technology will serve as an operational leader responsible for the day-to-day execution and implementation of technology initiatives that support the strategic vision set by the Executive Director of Practice Technology and other members of the OSP leadership team.  This role will focus on translating high-level strategy into actionable projects and solutions, ensuring the practice technology focused projects are aligned with organizational strategic goals and objectives. The Associate Director of Practice Technology will act as a key liaison and partner between the Executive Director and various teams and departments across the organization, driving project success across practices through effective communication, resource management, and building strong relationships.

Responsibility Description:

  • Integration Support – Advise and guide local platforms/partnerships on transitioning to SCA Health solutions or selecting and implementing EHR and Practice Management Systems.
  • Workflow Assessment and Optimization – Conduct thorough assessments of current workflows within the physician practices focused on their use (or lack thereof) of technology (i.e. Electronic Health Records, Practice Management, Interfaces, etc.) to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement by working closely with clinical and administrative teams to gather insights and develop detailed reports that inform decision-making, process enhancements, and technical opportunities.
  • Process Improvement – Lead initiatives aimed at improving practice operations by identifying best practices, developing standardized procedures in collaboration with appropriate teams and departments, and ensuring improvements align with strategic objectives of the organization.
  • Project Management – Align with PMO to ensure practice technology initiatives meet project milestones, objectives, timelines, and budget. Utilize project management skills and statistical analysis to ensure data-driven decisions are driving successful projects for the practices and OSP organizations.
  • Visioning and Ideation – Support the Executive Director in the development and communication of compelling value proposition for technology services by focusing on translating the vision into practical, implementable solutions that resonate with physician stakeholders and align with organizational strategic goals.
  • Leadership Candidate will be responsible for building a leading a team (or teams) focused on supporting our practice partnerships and the goals of the broader Clinical Applications Management team.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of seven years of relevant healthcare experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with physician practice technology and clinical operations with an understanding of key physician practice workflows.
  • Ability to collaborate with various departments and organizations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clinicians.
  • Motivation to achieve individual and team goals; must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Travel requirements: As needed to support the company and partnerships (estimated 25% - 50%).
  • 3-5 years leading a building a team.
Min: USD $135,000.00/Yr. Max: USD $155,000.00/Yr.
