  • Identifies and evaluates opportunities to incorporate AI‑enabled or intelligent capabilities (e.g., automation, decision support, agents, or workflow intelligence) to improve product efficiency, usability, and customer outcomes.
  • Leads product planning and roadmap prioritization for Contracting, balancing customer needs, business objectives, technical constraints, and delivery capacity.
  • Addresses organizational, technical, and capability barriers that impact product delivery, adoption, and realization of value.

Product Execution & Delivery

  • Owns end‑to‑end product execution, including discovery, requirements definition, backlog prioritization, sprint readiness, release planning, and post‑launch optimization.
  • Translates complex clinical, financial, and operational requirements into clear epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Leads key product and delivery checkpoints, proactively managing dependencies, risks, scope trade‑offs, and escalations.
  • Reviews development work for quality, completeness, and alignment with product requirements and enterprise standards.
  • Facilitates effective defect triage and resolution to maintain product quality and customer confidence.
  • Ensures delivered solutions meet enterprise SaaS standards for usability, scalability, security, compliance, and upgradeability.
  • Provides guidance on configuration versus customization decisions to support long‑term platform sustainability.

Cross‑Functional & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Partners closely with engineering, architecture, UX, services, compliance, and operations teams to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Oversees and coordinates cross functional activities to ensure product initiatives are delivered on schedule and aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Communicates product vision, roadmap, progress, risks, and trade‑offs to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Resolves complex product issues and coordinates appropriate escalation internally or with customers when required.

Discovery, Market & Customer Engagement

  • Leads and contributes to product discovery, including customer interviews, workflow analysis, and validation of market needs.
  • Partners with Marketing and Sales on Contracting product positioning, launch readiness, and messaging.
  • Leads product launch support activities, including customer demos, trade shows, sales enablement, and early‑adopter feedback loops, serving as the Contracting subject‑matter expert.
  • Monitors product performance, customer feedback, and usage data to inform continuous improvement and roadmap decisions.

Preferred Experience / Domain Knowledge

  • Strong experience delivering contracting or financial systems/products, such as contract lifecycle management (CLM), invoicing, billing, payments, credits/debits, reconciliation, or financial operations platforms.
  • Experience owning or supporting product launches for enterprise SaaS products, including launch readiness, early customer adoption, and post‑launch iteration.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial operations and contracting workflows, including sponsor finance, site contracts, investigator fees, or grants management.
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms in regulated industries, including considerations for compliance, security, scalability, and upgradeability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in product management or business systems roles for technology solutions.
  • Experience in identifying process challenges and driving efficiency and speed through a combination of process & technology improvements.
  • Ability to demonstrate organizational skills and set priorities for technology improvements via a data driven approach.
  • Experience leading delivery of complex, cross‑functional product initiatives.
  • Strong ability to translate ambiguous business and financial problems into structured, executable technology improvements.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, decision‑making, and influencing skills in a customer based setting.
