Associate Director, Network Strategy & Analytics (Network Planning)

Your Opportunity

You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of Chewy’s supply chain as an Associate Director of Network Strategy & Analytics. You’ll lead the development of our multi-year network strategy, helping determine how products move from suppliers through our fulfillment network and ultimately to our customers. You’ll bring together perspectives from across data science, forecasting, engineering, operations, transportation, and real estate to evaluate complex choices and turn insights into actionable plans. This is an exciting opportunity to build the data, metrics, and planning frameworks that inform significant supply chain investments and create lasting impact at Chewy!

What You’ll Do

• Develop multi-year supply chain and network strategies spanning inbound transportation, fulfillment, and outbound delivery.
• Build metrics, models, and analytical frameworks that evaluate network alternatives, tradeoffs, required investments, and expected outcomes.
• Partner with data science teams to develop rigorous analytical approaches for solving complex supply chain and network questions.
• Collaborate across transportation, fulfillment, forecasting, engineering, operations, and real estate to define critical business questions and evaluate potential solutions.
• Translate complex analyses into clear strategic options, recommendations, and investment considerations for senior leaders.
• Lead leadership reviews that encourage thoughtful discussion, clarify tradeoffs, and build alignment around long-term network plans.
• Establish scalable planning processes, data structures, and metrics that strengthen Chewy’s multi-year supply chain decision-making.
• Guide and develop a team responsible for network strategy and analytics while fostering curiosity, collaboration, and measurable impact.
  

What You’ll Need

• 8+ years of experience in supply chain, with demonstrated expertise across transportation, operations management, network planning, or related areas.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams, including establishing goals, creating meaningful metrics, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Experience translating complex data and analytics into clear recommendations that support strategic business decisions.
• Ability to collaborate across functions, influence stakeholders, and build alignment among teams with different priorities and perspectives.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, SQL, and Tableau, with the ability to apply data analysis to complex supply chain challenges.
• Deep understanding of transportation, operations management, and supply chain planning.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple complex initiatives.
• E-commerce experience.
• BS/BA degree in a related field.
