A pharma organization is seeking a new Associate Director, Molecular Diagnostic Programs to join their team Remotely. This role oversees molecular diagnostic program activities, supports new program development, and partners across scientific, medical, and business teams to help advance accurate rare disease diagnostics.

About the Opportunity:

  • Shift: Day shift

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday

  • Hours: Standard business

  • Setting: Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Support molecular diagnostics activities for existing and future franchise programs by monitoring program data, managing program materials, and supporting new program development

  • Develop laboratory testing program materials, maintain medical and compliance review, and conduct training on molecular diagnostics programs and internal reporting

  • Partner with internal and external scientific, laboratory, and medical experts to support ongoing testing program operations

  • Perform ad hoc data analysis to address program questions and report molecular diagnostics program status to the business

  • Support development and maintenance of gene locus-specific database programs

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of industry experience

  • Master's degree or higher in genetics, biochemistry, genetic counseling, molecular biology, or a related field

  • Experience in commercial genetic, biochemical, or other diagnostic assay development and/or testing program operations

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization software

  • Familiarity with HGVS nomenclature

  • Exposure to molecular, biochemical, antibody testing, or disease databasing
