PURPOSE: Responsible for leading the North American Sales organization by developing high performing teams, driving revenue growth, strengthening customer relationships, and executing commercial strategies that support the Company's strategic goals and corporate objectives

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct and coordinate all North American (BET) sales functions in alignment with the Company's strategic goals and business objectives
  • Manage an assigned sales region, including strategic account management, customer relationship development, territory planning, forecasting, and achievement of regional sales objectives
  • Provide day to day leadership, coaching, and performance management for the North American sales team to drive accountability, employee development, and achievement of commercial objectives
  • Work directly with the Director, Strategic Planning on revenue-generating initiatives, commercial strategies, and process improvement opportunities
  • Establish annual and monthly sales objectives in coordination with the Company's business plan
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the annual Sales Plan, providing quarterly updates, revisions, and performance assessments
  • Monitor sales performance through forecasting, pipeline management, CRM utilization, and key performance metrics to optimize individual and team performance
  • Develop strategic account and territory plans in partnership with the sales team to maximize customer growth, retention, and market penetration
  • Establish and maintain compensation and incentive programs for sales personnel
  • Travel with sales personnel and key customer accounts to provide coaching, performance evaluation, customer support, and professional development
  • Develop and manage the departmental sales budget
  • Recommend and administer policies and procedures to improve sales effectiveness and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Service, Technical Services, Finance, and Commercial Strategy to support customer success and execution of commercial initiatives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of a B.S. /B.A. in life science field or business administration or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education required. MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in biotech, pharmaceutical or medical device industry – BET sales experience preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years sales experience
  • Advanced technical training in life sciences required
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Frequently sit, stand, walk and use hands to finger, handle or feel. Occasionally reach with hands or arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Constantly talk or listen. Lift 26-50 lbs 1-33% of the time. Carry 26-50 lbs 34-66% of the time. Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is quiet for the work environment of this job.

SALARY: $139,000-$145,000 annually

PAY RANGE DETAILS

The pay range listed on each job posting at acc represents the anticipated compensation range for new hires. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate’s work history, experience, skills, and education. This range does not include the value of the total benefits package (if applicable), which includes, among other benefits, healthcare, dental, vision, and retirement benefits. Annual salaries are based on full-time employment.
