# Job Description The Associate Director for Student Standards and Conduct assist in the coordination of the universitys student conduct system and initiatives related to the implementation of the Standards of Student Conduct for all students. This position supports student learning and development by managing the conduct process and providing guidance to students and campus partners. The Associate Director serves as a point of contact for conduct related inquiries and collaborated closely with Residential Life, Academic Affairs, Campus safety partners, and Student Affairs leadership to uphold community standards and foster a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

# Required Qualifications

  • An advanced degree in student personnel, higher education, or a related field, or training and work experience at a level which equates to an advanced degree in those fields.
  • Prior professional experience in relevant areas within Student Affairs.
  • Experience with adjudicating student conduct.
  • Candidates must demonstrate evidence of:
  • Strong interpersonal, analytic, organizational, and communication skills.
  • An aptitude for student conduct.
  • The ability to advise college students.
  • The ability to work with a diverse population of staff and students.
  • The ability to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • The ability to promote high ethical standards among students.
  • In-depth knowledge and application of higher education law and university codes of conduct.
  • Computer literacy.

# Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience in adjudicating conduct cases.
  • Evidence of progressive responsibility within student conduct administration.
  • Experience in student housing and residential life.
  • Experience with academic integrity issues.
  • Involvement with conduct boards, including student leadership opportunities.
  • Knowledge of best practices in student conduct administration.
  • Experience with conflict resolution.
