Advanced Tower Components an immediate need for a highly motivated and talented individual for the Associate Drafter/Detailer position in our Drafting Department located in the Salem, OR headquarters. The Associate Drafter/Detailer will work closely with the project management team processing production and customer drawing orders, reviewing red lines and preparing the necessary drawings and other data for internal and external use.Primary duties and responsibilities:Review customer contract drawings, specifications, or instructions from team membersPrepare fabrication and assembly drawingsPrepare Bill of Materials from fabrication details and customer supplied drawings and specificationsIdentify, recommend and develop revisions to standard product designs, drafting procedures and systems to improve department operation and productivityRequired Qualifications:Associates degree or higher in a drafting related career field or equivalent drafting experienceExperience using SolidWorks, Inventor or AutoCADA strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skillsThe ability to solve complex problems with a high attention to detailThe ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment subject to specific deadlines that must be met, while verifying the accuracy of own and/or others' workThe ability to effectively communicate and interact with employees at all levels within the organization and follow instructionsAn acceptable attendance and prior employment recordA person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional resultsDrafting experience in a professional environment is a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
