Associate (DVM) Veterinarian –– Lakeland, FL

A veterinary hospital is seeking a Veterinarian (DVM) to join its well-established, high-volume practice. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong support and modern equipment. This position is ideal for veterinarians who are confident managing a high caseload, enjoy a mix of general practice and urgent care, and thrive in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning
• Provide preventive care, vaccinations, and wellness services
• Perform routine and soft tissue surgical procedures
• Conduct dental exams, cleanings, and treatments
• Manage urgent care cases efficiently and effectively
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as digital radiology, ultrasound, and in-house labs
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
• Active or eligible veterinary license
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
