Support engineering teams under general supervision by performing technical tasks requiring an intermediate understanding of engineering principles and practices
Utilize digital design tools and software (CAD, BIM, 3D modeling) to create, modify, and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables
Begin providing technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineering technicians as skills develop
Perform electrical drafting tasks with 2–3 years of experience focused specifically on electrical projects (civil drafting backgrounds not considered)
Contribute to substation‑related drafting, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and site layout support
Apply 2–3 years of Autodesk AutoCAD experience (MicroStation experience is a plus)
Work onsite, 5 days/week, at the Chattanooga office; must live within a commutable distance
Grow technical expertise around a key local client by working directly from the Chattanooga location
Maintain current knowledge of standards, systems, document control, departmental guides, and COMPANY policies and procedures
Apply the COMPANY Quality Program to ensure accuracy and compliance of deliverables
Demonstrate strong personal accuracy and support continuous improvement and change‑management initiatives
Expand use of applications and tools to evaluate and improve methods, processes, and procedures
Create and develop deliverables based on a variety of design inputs
Perform basic computations such as material quantity estimates and dimensional checks
Coordinate deliverables with other project groups to minimize interference or errors
Focus on internal client needs while developing an understanding of external client priorities
Proactively seek and share knowledge of emerging technologies and processes
2–3 years of relevant electrical drafting experience
