Position:Associate Electrologist

Location: Everett, WA 98208

Job Summary: Join a small but growing team of professionals that have a passion to help our clients achieve their beauty goals. We specialize in Healthy Skin treatments and Electrolysis for permanent hair removal. We provide electrolysis treatments to a variety of clients in our intimate private medical clinic. You would be responsible for providing electrolysis treatments to our clients under the direction of Master Electrologist.

Qualifications (New Graduate):

  • Certified Electrologist(New Graduate: AEA Certified School: 200hrs theory & 400hrs hands-on – with CPE supervision)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Client Consultations: Review medical history, prior treatments, determine client goals, review standard operating procedures and after care instructions. Evaluate if we are a good match for the client and/or recommend other alternatives to allow client to meet their goals. All client information remains confidential.

Perform Skin and Hair analysis: Evaluate skin condition, client hair density & growth. Document Ferriman Gallwey score along with before photos of area being treated.  Ensure clients skin is in good condition prior to any Electrolysis treatment and no lotions/serums with active ingredients have been used.  Develop a treatment plan that meets customer and industry standards.

Electrolysis: Able to perform Electrolysis treatments following the American Association of Electrology Association guidelines.  Familiar with each of the Electrolysis modalities and works with the client to select the best modality for hair removal while minimizing discomfort and skin reaction.

Infection Prevention: As instructed and following National standards to ensure all equipment is sterilized or disposed of after each client.

Client Communication: Discuss treatment options, what should be done prior to and after care, after care follow-up communication.

Client Scheduling: Establish a treatment schedule with the client; discuss procedures for cancelations/changes.

Work Schedule: Flexible schedule/hours as you build your clientele and work with the management team to achieve the desired number of work hours (ideally from 20 to 40hrs/week – but it’s up to you)

Education: Electrolysis Training (Graduate of AEA Certified Electrolysis Program)

Compensation:

  • Hourly Pay ($22 to $30 – based on level of experience/assignment)
  • Tips (Alchemy pays CC fees on tips)
