We work to protect consumers and market participants by mitigating uncompetitive behavior, identifying market design issues, monitoring participant conduct, and assessing overall market performance. Our multidisciplinary team brings together expertise in economics, engineering, financial analysis, data science, and law.

How You Will Make an Impact
As an IMM analyst, you will support the implementation of market power mitigation rules, ensuring that energy market prices reflect competitive conditions. You will gain unique insights into the capital and operating costs of a wide range of generation technologies-from traditional fossil fuel units to emerging clean‑energy resources such as battery storage.
In this role, you will engage with project owners and market participants, conduct production cost and financial analyses, evaluate energy and capacity market offers, and monitor participant behavior for compliance. You will also help assess the effectiveness of mitigation rules and contribute to market reports and analytical tools that enhance situational awareness and market oversight.
What We're Looking For

The expected salary range for this position is $72,000 - $93,000 per year. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental and vision), flexible spending and health savings accounts, a 401(k) plan with generous employer contributions and a student debt benefit, life and AD&D insurance, disability insurance, critical illness and hospital indemnity benefits, paid time off, paid leave, a wellness program, an employee assistance program and other great company perks.
