  • Support automation initiatives to improve provisioning, configuration management, and operational efficiency
  • Follow best practices for version control, testing, and deployment of infrastructure changes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver platform enhancements and improvements
  • Document processes, configurations, and operational procedures
  • Build knowledge in a specific component or area of the system and grow technical expertise over time
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented engineering culture

Basic qualifications
  • Associate's degree, coding bootcamp/code school certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1 year of relevant experience (including internships, academic projects, or bootcamp work)
  • 1 year of experience with Linux (schooling can be included)
  • 1 year of experience with Infrastructure as code and VMware
  • 1 year of scripting, batch scripting and troubleshooting systems
  • Foundational understanding of computer science concepts (e.g., data structures, basic algorithms, and/or system & infrastructure fundamentals)
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language and basic platform development practices, preferably python

Preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
  • Internship, co-op, or project experience building or contributing to cloud platform implementations
  • Linux Certification
  • Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git), testing practices, and debugging techniques
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies or team-based CI/CD delivery pipelines
  • Demonstrated curiosity and initiative to learn new technologies and improve technical skills
  • Willingness to accept feedback, learn continuously, and grow as an engineer
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to peers with limited context
