Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain a detailed understanding of electric power systems and how to protect, monitor, automate, and control the power system.
Conceive and develop concepts for new product ideas and enhancements.
Prepare and maintain product documentation, including data sheets, instruction manuals, project notebooks, design and test documentation.
Provide engineering support for customers, product managers and field application engineers.
Complete assigned work using established procedures and working under immediate supervision.
Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
Understand. Create. Simplify.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Self-motivated with continuous desire to learn and find solutions
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)
