Position Description
Seattle City Light, a department of the City of Seattle, is one of the nation's largest municipally owned utilities in terms of the number of customers served. Today, City Light is a recognized national leader in energy efficiency and environmental stewardship.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Streetlight Engineering Team. The Electrical Engineer Associate will serve as project engineer on complex and highly visible Capital Improvement Projects such as Sound Transit Ballard Link Extension, SDOT Harrison and Mercer Transit Access, SCL Underground Cable Replacement, and various State and Local Transportation and Transit Improvement projects. This position will also be responsible for designing electrical infrastructure, preparing work packages, and evaluating lighting on increasingly complex street improvement and other related public works projects. We are looking for a team member interested in making a positive impact on our city. This position will report to the Streetlight Engineering Supervisor.

Requires three years of professional electrical engineering experience and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or other combinations of education and/or experience which provides preparation to do professional electrical engineering work.

The full salary range for this position is $62.32 to $72.73 per hour.
