Acknowledge Job Description:The candidate will work alongside senior employees covering the US Automotive value chain. Ultimately, they will be responsible for all aspects of the job, including idea generation, industry research, client interaction, database creation/management, modeling, writing, valuation analysis, marketing materials, client interaction, conferences, plant tours, field trips, and much more. Key elements of the role to begin will include database maintenance/creation, marketing materials updating, maintenance report writing (weekly update, monthly sales/inventory, earnings preview/reviews), and modeling, although this will be naturally expanded with self-starter initiative and the dynamic role itself.ResponsibilitiesPerform complex financial modeling & valuation workWrite regular industry and company reports and company launch initiations from scratchAnalyze data in market research databasesDemonstrate strong industry knowledge and business judgmentInterview industry experts regarding our covered companies and industriesWork with Senior Analysts to develop key industry themesBuild relationships and facilitate information flow with contacts at covered companiesParticipate and contribute to client meetings and eventsAttend meetings and interact with key opinion leadersClosely follow and understand market, industry and company specific activity, and relay to analyst when travelingSeek out new, unusual sources of information to augment our research capabilitiesRespond to research inquiries from our institutional investor clients during market hoursQualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience; progress towards a CFA or other relevant professional certifications is a plus1-3+ years' experience in accounting, corporate finance, research, banking or consultingStrong modeling and financial analysis skills (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement in Excel)Ability to comprehend and create charts, diagrams, tables and other data visualizationsStrong attention to detailKnowledge of statistics and/or data analytics/data science techniques a plusGeneral interest in the stock market and/or financial marketsMust work well in a fast-paced, intense and collaborative team environmentMust have excellent communication skills, written and verbalMust work well in a collaborative team environmentShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week: 40 Learn more about this role Apply × To proceed with your application, you must be at least 18 years of age.
