Acknowledge Job Description:The US Oil and Gas Equity Research team covers the US Integrated Oil, Refiner, and Midstream subsectors. The companies in these subsectors are complex and require the capacity to understand multinational trends, different fiscal regimes and sensitivities to a wide range of commodity environments to gauge equity performance. The team is looking for someone who has interest in the historical backdrop of the energy sector, anticipates new and emerging trends, develops original investment theses and effectively communicates investment recommendations to internal stakeholders and investor clients.This role supports the team in all aspects from idea generation, financial modeling, participating in company meetings and communicating with other research teams, sales, trading, financial advisors, company management, investor clients and policy experts. ResponsibilitiesPerform complex financial modeling & valuation workWrite regular industry and company reports and company launch initiations from scratchDevelop databases integral to our research productDemonstrate strong industry knowledge and business judgmentWork with Senior Analysts to develop key industry themesBuild relationships and facilitate information flow with contacts at covered companiesParticipate and contribute to client meetings and eventsAttend meetings and interact with key opinion leadersClosely follow and understand market, industry and company-specific activityGenerate data-driven investment ideasInteract regularly with clientsQualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience3+ years of experience in equity research, investment banking or the buy side focusing on the Midstream subsectorStrong writing and modeling skills. Must be an expert at MS Word and MS ExcelMust be able to thrive in a fast-paced and intense environment.Must have excellent communications skills, written and verbalMust enjoy following the stock market and doing desktop and field researchAlong with Finance and Accounting, should have basic understanding of economics, macroeconomic factors, international affairs, and policy/politicsMust have strong attention to detail, ability to multi-taskMust work well in a collaborative team environmentShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week: 40 Learn more about this role Apply × To proceed with your application, you must be at least 18 years of age.
