Receptionist / Escrow Assistant

Position Type: Contract (through 01/27/2027) with potential for extension
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Receptionist / Escrow Assistant to support our busy Homebuilder Division. This role combines front desk reception responsibilities with escrow support duties. Prior experience in a title company, escrow office, or real estate closing environment is required due to the fast-paced nature of the position and limited training period.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients, agents, lenders, and builders professionally
- Answer and direct incoming calls
- Schedule appointments, closings, and conference rooms
- Manage mail, deliveries, and general office support
- Assist Escrow Officers with file setup, maintenance, and document preparation
- Review files for completeness and follow up on outstanding items
- Coordinate closing logistics and communicate file status updates
- Scan, upload, and maintain electronic file documentation
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience in a Title Company, Escrow Office, or Real Estate Closing environment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Experience supporting residential purchase transactions
- Experience working with homebuilder transactions
- Familiarity with title and escrow software systems
- Knowledge of closing processes and title industry terminology
