Associate Field Service EngineerWe are looking for an associate field service engineer to support Beckman Coulter Diagnostics equipment across the Northland Territory. The role reports to the local Field Service Supervisor and is based in Eau Claire, WI with remote work possible.In This RolePerform troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventive maintenance, modifications, and service repair on Beckman Coulter equipment, providing efficient service and technical training to customers.Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal service records, order repair parts, and meet cycle times using business systems such as OBI, Sales Force, and SharePoint for service call planning.Communicate with internal and external customers at various levels, fostering collaboration and assisting with training of newer Field Service Engineers.Essential RequirementsAssociate degree (prefer technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering, or related) or equivalent military experience.At least 1 year of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environmental RequirementsMust be able to travel in assigned geography and to other areas, including occasional overnight stays.Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Must be able to lift, lower and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted; frequently bend, stoop, twist, turn, crouch/crawl, push/pull, and sit/stand for extended periods.Must also be able to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck, and have good hand and finger dexterity.Preferred1+ years advanced troubleshooting experience.Experience developing relationships with internal and external customers to enhance satisfaction and retention.A technical college major such as biomed or engineering.BenefitsCompetitive salary range of $62,000 - $72,000, bonus/incentive pay eligibility, comprehensive benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
