The Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Pharmacology at the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) seeks an innovative and collaborative Computational Pharmacologist/Drug Discovery Scientist to join a growing cluster of investigators focused on mechanistic biology and therapeutic discovery across varying research areas and diseases. IUSM offers competitive start-up and relocation packages, and exceptional candidates may be considered for endowed professorships.
The successful candidate will bridge medicinal chemistry, in vivo pharmacology and clinical deployment of therapeutics across disease states. We envision a collaborative, interdisciplinary position that integrates mechanistic discovery with therapeutic innovation. The successful candidate will develop advanced computational and systems-level frameworks to interrogate putative therapeutic compounds for optimization to targets. Research in this area is anticipated to provide the "blueprints" for medicinal chemistry efforts to create the next generation of human therapeutics in a collaborative, vibrant research program.

Basic Qualifications
Education: PhD in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Toxicology, or a related field.
