About the Role

Total Wine & More is seeking an Associate II, Outbound Logistics to join our growing Supply Chain team in Bethesda, MD. In this role, you will support the day-to-day coordination of outbound shipments from our distribution centers to stores. You will work closely with senior team members, internal departments, and external partners to ensure shipments are processed accurately, tracked effectively, and delivered on time. This is a great opportunity to build a career in supply chain and logistics while gaining hands-on experience in transportation operations. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Transportation & Logistics.

You will

  • Assist with coordinating the transportation of goods from multiple distribution centers by processing orders and reviewing truck plans and routes.
  • Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams (Replenishment, Warehouse Operations, Store Operations) to track deliveries and resolve issues.
  • Support data entry, reporting, and analysis using Excel, Power BI, and other systems, and learn to understand and apply transportation performance metrics to support business decisions.
  • Participate in identifying recurring problems and contribute to solutions that improve service levels.
  • Help review and reconcile freight invoices under guidance from senior associates.

You will come with

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent years of experience.
  • Less than 1 year experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation (internship or entry-level role) preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic analytical skills and proficiency with MS Excel (knowledge of Power BI or similar tools a plus).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn Solid project and process management skills, with attention to detail and follow through.
