Employment Type: W2 Contract (3 Months, Contract-to-Hire)

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Location: Atlanta, GA

Shift: 2nd or 3rd Shift

Compensation: $28.81 - $32.01/hour

Job Description

We are seeking an Associate III, Production Operations to support production planning, scheduling, workflow coordination, and operational execution within a fast-paced production environment.

This role works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure production activities are completed efficiently while meeting service level agreements (SLAs), quality standards, and operational objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and organizational skills, experience with production scheduling, advanced Excel capabilities, and the ability to adapt to changing production demands.

This individual will play a key role in monitoring workflows, forecasting production volumes, maintaining operational documentation, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule production activities to ensure efficient workflow and SLA compliance.
• Monitor production systems and operational processes, escalating issues as necessary.
• Develop and maintain production schedules based on capacity, workload, and client requirements.
• Analyze workflow trends and production data to optimize resource allocation and throughput.
• Forecast production volumes using historical data and business projections.
• Maintain accurate production logs, documentation, and compliance records.
• Support monitoring and reporting of operational performance metrics and client SLAs.
• Assist in developing operational standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process improvement initiatives.
• Participate in special projects focused on operational efficiency and productivity enhancements.
• Utilize Excel and reporting tools to analyze production performance and create actionable insights.
• Support development and maintenance of operational tracking databases and reporting systems.
• Prioritize workload effectively while adapting to changing business and production demands.
• At senior levels, provide guidance to junior team members and coordinate smaller workstreams.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma, associate degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience in production operations, production scheduling, operations coordination, manufacturing support, or a related environment.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:

• Formulas

• Pivot Tables

• Data Analysis

• Reporting Functions

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.

• Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced operational environment.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and production requirements.

• Sound operational judgment and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Power BI or similar dashboard and reporting tools.
• Exposure to process improvement initiatives or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience tracking operational performance metrics and KPI reporting.
• Knowledge of capacity planning, workflow management, or forecasting techniques.
• Previous experience supporting SLA-driven production environments.
