JOB DESCRIPTION Fulfillment Center Associate Core Responsibilities:
Continuous Improvement Evaluate, monitor, and escalate roadblocks that could cause downstream defects; support root cause analysis with strong problem-solving skills.
Equipment Operation Operate PIT equipment and forklifts (EPJs, reach-trucks, turret-trucks) safely and effectively to move heavy parts/materials throughout the facility.
Receiving Shipments Unload carrier deliveries and visually inspect incoming packages per standard operating procedures.
Quality Control Review part number requirements and process accordingly per SOPs.
Documenting Receipts Use inventory management tools to upload, store, and close out receipts and work orders.
Data Entry Navigate inventory management systems to input data from physical deliveries and complete fulfillment tasks.
Packaging Identify appropriate packaging for parts and properly wrap/store items at any stage of the fulfillment or manufacturing workflow.
Sorting & Staging Move and secure packages, boxes, crates, and storage containers to prevent loss within the workflow.
Labeling & Marking Ensure all parts are properly labeled and identified per SOP for accurate tracking through the workflow.
Storage & Auditing Properly store parts (individual or bulk) using good judgment and SOPs; conduct audits as required.
QUALIFICATIONS Required:
2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including receiving and inventory functions
Strict adherence to safety protocols, PPE requirements, and safety training
Ability to lift 50 lbs
World-class quality mindset with strong attention to detail
Effective communication skills in a technical environment
Mathematical and analytical skills able to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions
Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build trust and contribute to an inclusive culture
Previous certified forklift experience
Preferred:
Warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience in the aerospace or automotive industry
