Associate - Inventory I - C

Job Title: Inventory Associate
C-shift Friday to Monday 6am to 6:30pm
Location: Orlando, FL
Type: Contract / On-Site
Compensation: $28 per hour

Responsibilities
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating, monitoring, and escalating roadblocks that could cause downstream defects.
• Assist in root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts related to inventory and fulfillment processes.
• Properly operate heavy equipment including PIT equipment, forklifts, reach-trucks, turret-trucks, and electronic pallet jacks, adhering to safety and maintenance procedures.
• Receive shipments, unload deliveries, and visually inspect packages for compliance with SOP standards.
• Conduct quality control checks on incoming parts and shipments, ensuring adherence to process requirements.
• Document receipts and work orders accurately using inventory management tools, ensuring proper data entry and record-keeping.
• Manage packaging tasks, selecting appropriate materials and properly wrapping/storing parts throughout the workflow.
• Sort, stage, and move packages or crates, ensuring secure handling to prevent loss.
• Label and mark parts with identifiers as outlined in SOPs for proper tracking and analysis.
• Store parts correctly, perform storage audits, and follow SOPs for inventory management.

Requirements
• Experience in fulfillment operations, including inventory counting, receiving, and packing (include years of experience and companies if available).
• Experience with receiving or shipping inventory, including put-away, picking, kitting, or shipping tasks.
• Willingness to drive a forklift with training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Fundamental knowledge of operating heavy equipment such as PIT equipment, forklifts, reach-trucks, and turret-trucks.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.
• Ability to perform data entry and navigate inventory management systems.
• Good judgment in storage and handling of parts, with ability to perform audits as per SOPs.
