POSITION TITLE: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ROTATION ASSOCIATE

DEPARTMENT: GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY ORGANIZATION (GTO)

The position provides the opportunity to participate in a 24-month accelerated skill development program for an individual commencing their career in the Global Technology Organization (GTO). This position cultivates the technical, business, and professional experience. The incumbent rotates through four six-month engagements within GTO being exposed up to four different departments and / or the roles and responsibilities performed within each department. In each rotation assignment the Associate will perform the job functions aligned with a primary role or roles within the department.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in information technology field; or other major with course work or assignments leveraging technology and / or relevant internship required GPA 3.5 or above preferred Coursework associated with the Software Development Life Cycle; such as, database design; project management; requirements; programming/development preferred Capstone / independent study course leveraging technology concepts preferred Information technology internship preferred Leadership experience through coursework, school projects, employment, military, or other organizations required Experience working as part of a team required Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or similar products required

MAJOR DUTIES:

• Solve technical and/or business problems and objectives. • Participate in the research of technical, business process or tools and provide recommendation for new solutions or products that Sr. Management is assessing. • Establish relationship with end users and other members of BISD. • Collaboratively works with others. • Maintain a basic awareness of tools and technology appropriate for the position. • Lead knowledge sharing sessions with assigned team. • Creates and maintains documentation as required. • Participate in and take leadership role for Hack-a-Thon events as appropriate. • May be assigned to assist with onboarding and / or acting as a new hire buddy for interns, entry level hires or rotation associates.

HOURS/LOCATION:

8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Overtime as required) Hybrid schedule (in-office / remote) Federated Hermes Tower - Pittsburgh, PA 15222 OR Warrendale, PA 15086

EXPLANATORY COMMENTS:
