What is Recruitment Fraud? Recruitment fraud is a sophisticated scam offering fake job opportunities to job seekers. This type of fraud is normally carried out through e-mails or social sites by an individual claiming to be from the company. These fraudsters often request recipients to complete employment forms requiring that you provide your personal identifying information. The scammer may even conduct an "interview" with the job seeker through a virtual conferencing platform and will often request that the job seeker make a payment as part of their fake recruiting process. How to identify Recruitment Fraud? Please note that PerkinElmer DOES NOT: Send job offers from free email providers such as Yahoo, Google, etc. Some scammers try to use email addresses that have PerkinElmer in the name, such as perkinelmerjobs.com, however, these are not legitimate emails. Present job offers without an employment application, an interview and a discussion with the hiring manager. Request payments or any type of personal data, such as credit card information, from prospective candidates for employment. Authorize anyone to collect money or arrive at any monetary arrangement in return for a job at PerkinElmer. Require background screening on job applicants prior to being interviewed. All background screenings are conducted in accordance with applicable law and at appropriate times during the recruitment process, not prior to an interview. What to do if you are approached? JobResponsibilities
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, both verbally and in writing.
Collaborate with team members to complete routine tasks that ensure lab and equipment readiness.
Monitor and replenish laboratory supplies, reagents, and consumables.
Prepare and set up equipment and materials for experiments or instructional labs.
Clean and sterilize glassware, instruments, and workspaces.
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Receive, label, and store incoming materials.
Maintainaccurateinventory records and report low stock or equipment issues.
Ensure compliance with lab safety protocols andassistwith safety inspections.
Dispose of chemical and biological wastein accordance withregulations.
Provide basic troubleshooting support and guidance on equipment use.
Escalate issues promptly to supervisors.
Support team goals and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Escort and coordinate with vendors visiting lab areas.
Follow documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for lab tasks.
Assistwith service work orders and coordinate maintenance and service events with scientists and key personnel.
Support communication efforts, including posting signs and forwarding relevant emails

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1-2 years' experience in a customer facing role
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a scientific or laboratory environment.
Associate degree or professional certification in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Six Sigma, Business Administration, Supply Chain).
Basic understanding of GLP/GxPand experience in a compliance-driven environment.
Familiarity with 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
Knowledge of chemical handling and safety practices.
Basic understanding of Occupational Health and Safety standards
Ability to read and interpret chemical labels and safety signage.
Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Working Environment:
Must be able to work in a laboratory, controlledenvironmentsrequiring personal protective equipment (e.g., lab coat, safety glasses, etc.) inlaboratory.
Job pace may befastand job completion demands may be high.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 25% of the time
The person needs to occasionally move between labs, corridors, adjoining rooms, and buildings onsite Frequentlyoperateon instruments, objects,toolsor controls, which will require regularly bending, squatting,stretchingand reachingin order toperform in a service function.
Occasionally move orlift upto 25 pounds (potential for occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds).
Specific vision abilities required by this position include without limitation, the ability toobservedetails at close range distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusin order toperform the essential service functions of this position.
Occasionallyoperatesa computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
Employeemaybe requiredto handle hazardous waste according to local, state, and federal regulations. Duties may includeidentifying, handling, generating, accumulating,storingand labeling hazardous waste.
Potential risk to lab-based hazards including but not limited to extreme temperature, biological materials,andhazardous chemicals.
May berequiredto complete Medical Clearance, Respiratory Protection Training, and Fit Testing to wear a respirator as protection againsthazardspresent in the laboratory environment.
The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $45,000 to $55,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
