Overview

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy education, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster positive relationships and support each child's development.
• Observe and assess children's progress, providing early intervention when necessary to support their individual needs.
• Plan and conduct activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.

Qualifications

• Experience working with preschool or daycare-aged children is preferred.
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
• Knowledge of curriculum development tailored for preschool learners.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and fellow educators.
• Ability to create a nurturing environment that supports toddler care and early intervention strategies.
• A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable but not mandatory.
