Redefining Vehicle Safety with AI Innovation

Building the Future of Automated Automotive Inspections

UVeye is seeking an Associate Legal Counsel to support its mission of transforming vehicle safety and reliability worldwide. As a pioneer in AI-driven vehicle inspection systems, UVeye partners with leading automotive and technology companies to deliver advanced solutions across manufacturing, dealerships, fleets, and more.

In this role, the Associate Legal Counsel will work closely with senior legal leadership and cross-functional teams to support UVeye’s expanding global operations. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements—such as SaaS, licensing, service, vendor, and partnership contracts—while progressively taking ownership of defined agreement types. The role also involves supporting compliance initiatives related to contracts, privacy, and AI governance, managing contract workflows, and contributing to the development of contract templates and legal best practices.

The Associate Legal Counsel will provide practical legal guidance to teams across Sales, Procurement, Product, Operations, HR, R&D, and Finance, and assist with corporate governance, compliance, and risk management. Additional duties include conducting legal research on regulatory and industry developments, supporting dispute prevention, and helping to maintain internal policies and training materials.

Candidates should hold a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, be an active member of at least one U.S. state bar (New York or New Jersey preferred), and have at least one year of professional legal experience with exposure to commercial contracts. Strong drafting, organizational, and communication skills are essential, along with a keen interest in technology and scaling legal infrastructure in a dynamic environment.
