This role sits at the center of the close and reporting process, with responsibility for consolidation, intercompany accounting, and the integrity of financial data flowing into corporate reporting.This is not a traditional close role. The ideal candidate understands how financial data moves across systems and entities, brings strong analytical and financial storytelling capabilities, and continuously seeks opportunities to improve scalability through automation and process optimization.This role partners closely with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and Enterprise Systems to deliver accurate, timely, and scalable reporting while helping evolve and modernize the close process.This role requires you to commute to our New York City office 3 times a week.In this role, you will:Consolidation, Reporting & Financial IntegrityExecute the end-to-end consolidation and close process across global entities, including foreign currency translation within NetSuite and OneStreamEnsure accuracy and integrity of financial data from subledger through consolidation and reportingSupport adherence to Parent Company timelines, including a five-business-day close cycleIdentify and resolve consolidation issues impacting reporting quality and timingMaintain audit‑ready financials and support external reporting requirementsFluctuation Analysis & Financial InsightsLead monthly, quarterly, and annual fluctuation analysis across the P&L and balance sheetPartner cross-functionally to understand key business and accounting driversDeliver clear, concise commentary explaining variances, trends, and performance driversFacilitate close review discussions and highlight key risks, trends, and calloutsTranslate financial results into meaningful business insightSystems, Data & Process OptimizationDevelop deep knowledge of ERP structures, entity hierarchies, and financial data flowsSupport consolidation system integrity, including mappings and data alignment within OneStreamAdminister close and reconciliation tools such as FloQast to support scalable operationsInvestigate issues at both the system and data level and drive sustainable solutionsIdentify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and accelerate the close processSupport initiatives focused on automation, AI enablement, reporting efficiency, and data quality improvementsIntercompany & Balance Sheet OversightOversee intercompany accounting processes, including eliminations, reconciliations, and variance analysisCoordinate with offshore resources to ensure timely and accurate deliverablesDrive process improvements and support system transitions, including BlackLine initiativesReview and support balance sheet reconciliations across key accountsCross‑Functional Partnership & Team LeadershipServe as a key liaison across Brand, Parent Company, and cross‑functional finance teamsPartner with FP&A, Tax, GL, and Financial Operations to improve upstream reporting inputs and data qualityLead and develop a direct report while promoting accountability, prioritization, and high‑quality executionBuild documentation, standardized processes, and team knowledge around systems and reporting best practicesCommunicate effectively across stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertiseBring structure, ownership, and clarity to evolving processes and areas of ambiguityPlease apply if you have:Strong experience in consolidation, close processes, and financial reporting within a multi‑entity environmentDemonstrated experience with fluctuation analysis, variance investigation, and financial commentarySystems‑oriented mindset with experience using consolidation and close tools such as OneStream and FloQastERP experience required;
