How You Will Make an Impact
Provide coaching,trainingand leadership as necessary to the client service team
Reviewall workproduct prepared by accounting staff including monitoring and pricing of P&L,NAV’sand economic allocations
Contribute to internal project initiativesregardingnew product development,testingand implementation
Coordinate overall work plan for US client service group accounting staff, which includes managing and monitoring work in progress
Manage client relationships and satisfaction
Establish a plan for new client setups,reorganizationsand conversions
Resolve fund accounting inquiries escalated to a supervisor
Provide technical accounting/industry knowledge to our clients
Coordinate, manage andmonitorthe external audit process
Review client financial statements, partner capitalstatementsand other required financial reporting
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
4+years’ experience inAccountingworking for a Fund Administrator in Hedge Funds
What Sets You Apart
Master’s degree preferred
CPA/CFA is a plus
Experience working with allocations and financial statements/audit
3+ years’ experience supervising others
Strong knowledge of US GAAP
Prior experience with various products including equities, fixed income, repurchase agreements, futures, FX,Mortgagesand options
Solid knowledge of corporate actions
Advanced MS Excel knowledge
Ability to work under pressure and manage tight internal and client deadlines
Strong communicationskills, including verbal, written and presentation abilities
