Associate Manager, Indirect Sourcing

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Associate Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing strategy and supplier management across critical indirect spend categories within a fast paced medtech environment. This is a highly strategic role build on driving strategies and reducing costs.

This role will own end to end sourcing strategies across the defined Indirect categories while partnering with the key cross-functional stakeholders .

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across assigned indirect procurement categories including, Facilities, Real Estate, Travel, Capital equipment, HR services
• Lead end to end sourcing activities including RFQ, negotiations, contracting, supplier onboarding.
• Negotiate prices and follow competitive bidding procedures when necessary to ensure the lowest total cost for specific materials or services, interacting with other departments as needed.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms, and effectively manage these contracts to ensure compliance, performance, and cost-effectiveness Partner cross functionally with Operations, Engineering, Marketing, Manufacturing , HR , Legal and other stakeholders to support company priorities.
• Supplier Management and drive risk mitigation across suppliers.
• Identify strategies and drive projects to enable cost reduction with suppliers.

Expected Areas of Competence (i.e., knowledge, skills, and abilities)

• Medical, Lifesciences or Pharma Industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge and experience in sourcing practices across a regulated industry.
• Proven skills in contract management, including the ability to draft, review, negotiate, and administer contracts effectively.
• Strong understanding of ERP, procurement and spend management systems and tools.
• Ability to independently solve challenges of low- to medium complexity that involve multiple cross-functional departments.
• Strong organizational, communication, and quick learning skills.
• Ability to work with a Global team.

Education/Experience Requirements

• Typically requires bachelor's degree (Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related fields).
• 5+ years of Sourcing and negotiations experience required.

Travel Requirements

Up to 10%
