Job Overview
The Associate Manager, Marketing supports the execution of brand campaigns, photoshoots, and partnerships across Lucky Brand and Aéropostale. This role plays a critical operational and cross-functional role, managing samples, assets, timelines, and partner coordination to ensure seamless delivery of marketing initiatives across all consumer touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
Shoots & Sample Coordination
• Own the end-to-end sample process for all photoshoots across Lucky Brand and Aéropostale, from initial sample
receipt through on-set execution and final returns.
• Partner with Merchandising to identify and compile styles for laydowns, pinups, and campaign shoots, ensuring
alignment with seasonal and business priorities.
• Lead all sample logistics, including shipment coordination (messenger, UPS, etc.), on-set tracking, and timely returns
to merchandising teams or licensees.
• Coordinate with licensee partners to secure non-core product, including accessories and footwear.
• Collaborate closely with stylists during style-outs to ensure priority styles are featured and accurately represented.
• Conduct pre-styleout reviews with merchant teams to validate sample quality, fit, and color accuracy.
• Develop and distribute detailed shot lists for all Lucky Brand and Aéropostale shoots.
Asset Coordination & Delivery
• Create and distribute post-shoot asset “cheat sheets” outlining imagery details, item numbers, and delivery timelines
for wholesale and creative teams.
• Manage organization, naming conventions, and archival of final campaign assets on shared drives.
• Own asset delivery workflows with Authentic Brands Group and external partners, ensuring timely feedback,
approvals, and final delivery.
Campaign Management
• Oversee end-to-end project management for marketing campaigns across multiple channels and touchpoints.
• Ensure on-time delivery of assets from internal creative teams and external partners.
• Partner cross-functionally with Social, E-commerce, Print & Production, and Creative teams through weekly meetings
to ensure clear briefing and execution of signage, site updates, and social content.
• Contribute to and maintain marketing calendars to support campaign planning, visibility, and execution.
Influencer & Product Seeding
• Manage influencer product seeding programs, including gifting for content creation and post-delivery follow-up to
secure deliverables.
• Fulfill 5–10 weekly seeding requests across multiple product categories and fulfillment processes.
• Collaborate with social partners to ensure influencer programs are aligned with marketing priorities and deliver timely
content for both Lucky Brand and Aéropostale.
Collaborations & Brand Partnerships
• Serve as the day-to-day point of contact between the manager and director of collaborations & licensing, internal
creative teams, and external collaborators.
• Manage the collection of logos and assets and oversee approvals for media alerts, campaign launches, and copy.
• Ensure seamless execution and alignment across all collaboration launch moments.
• Support the brand’s partnership with Oceana by managing monthly philanthropic invoice processing and coordination.
Brand Marketing Support
• Contribute to the development and execution of brand marketing plans, including annual, seasonal, and campaign-
specific initiatives such as Guns N’ Roses, Modelo, and Grateful Dead partnerships.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in brand marketing, project management, or related roles (fashion or lifestyle brands
preferred).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-driven.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with creative asset management systems is a plus.
