The Role and What You'll Do:

160over90 is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Media Planner to support our Paid Media team across planning, campaign execution, financial management, and media operations. This role will work closely with Media Directors and Planners to ensure campaigns are launched accurately, budgets are maintained, and media investments are effectively managed from planning through reconciliation.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, collaborative, and eager to build a career in media while serving as a trusted operational partner to a fast-paced agency team. This position is an integrated role with an emphasis on digital and performance-based media but also consists of traditional (Print, Radio, OOH, and TV), experiential and lifestyle media as client’s needs dictate.

Key Responsibilities

Media Planning & Execution

• Support the development and maintenance of media plans, budgets, flowcharts, and planning documents.
• Conduct audience, market, competitive, and media landscape research.
• Coordinate vendor materials, insertion orders, and campaign documentation.
• Assist the team by creating RFPs, evaluating proposal offerings, rate negotiations and value add opportunities

Media Operations

• Build and maintain plans and buys within MediaOcean Prisma and related media platforms.
• Manage and assist with campaign setup, trafficking, QA, and administrative workflows.
• Ensure planning systems, tracking documents, and campaign records remain accurate and up to date.

• Maintain budget trackers and investment records across assigned accounts.
• Reconcile vendor invoices against approved media plans and authorizations.

Team & Account Support

• Coordinate day-to-day communication with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Support the development of client presentations, status updates, and meeting materials.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in media, advertising, marketing, or a related field.
  • Internship experience at an agency may be considered
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Platforms including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience with MediaOcean Prisma and media buying platforms.
• Familiarity with billing reconciliation and media financial management.
• Familiarity and an understanding of paid search, paid social, programmatic, display, video, audio, and CTV media channels.
• Agency experience supporting multiple client accounts.
