Job Description
A strong community health system in New York City is seeking an Associate Medical Director to join their team.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1 Saturday or Sunday per month
- Hours: 9am-5pm, one later night per week
- Setting: outpatient
- Patient population: all ages
Responsibilities:
- Supervise all clinical providers and monitor the practice and on-site programs to ensure the organization's goals, quality performance measures, regulatory compliance, training programs, and research initiatives are being met
- Maintain a clinical practice at the assigned site and meeting all responsibilities of an attending physician
- Demonstrate an understanding of health care systems and the ability to apply this knowledge to improve and optimize health care
- Precept residents, medical students, and other health professional trainees as appropriate
Qualifications:
- License to practice medicine in New York
- Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine
- Interest in community health and working with diverse populations
- Previous leadership experience preferred
