Associate Nutrition Attendant at Petaluma Valley Hospital in Petaluma, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Prepares food items for patient trays, cafeteria service or catering events. Cleans and sanitizes dishware, pots, and work areas. Operates kitchen equipment, works trayline, stocks supplies and other related tasks. Works under minimal supervision and acts as a resource to others in the department. Works in a professional, efficient manner to meet the needs of the patients and customers.

Required qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: On the job training provided.
  • Upon hire: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority
  • 1 year Food service experience within the past 3 years

Preferred qualifications:

  • Hospital or healthcare facility experience

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate''s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
