Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Patent Attorney in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patent prosecution and a commitment to excellence in IP law.Duties Draft, prepare, and review patent applications.Respond to communications from U.S. and foreign patent offices.Conduct examiner interviews.Draft, prepare, and review trademark applications.Prepare litigation documents and support litigation, including IPR proceedings.Review and prepare licensing documents.Communicate with foreign counsel and revise documents as needed.Complete consultation calls and engage in meetings with prospective clients.Participate in team meetings and client consultations.Perform patentability, infringement, and invalidity analyses, and patent due diligence.Utilize internal software systems to manage projects and workload.Manage docket, meet deadlines, and produce results.Assist with domestic and international business development.Requirements 5+ years of patent prosecution practice.Patent litigation/licensing experience is a plus.Wireless technology experience is a plus.Admission to practice before the USPTO and the California bar.Strong oral and written communication skills.Education Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.Certifications Admission to practice before the USPTO.Admission to the California bar.Skills Strong communication skills.Proficiency in managing IP portfolios.Ability to conduct detailed legal analyses.Benefits Health insurance.Paid time off.#J-18808-Ljbffr
