We are seeking an Associate Planning Manager to join our supply chain network with responsibility for our Green Tree, PA production and raw material planning.  As the Associate Planning Manager, you will optimize planning processes to support delivery, production, continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and working capital goals. You will work with various internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and implement improvements.

What You Will Do: 

  • Direct and coach the Material Planning and Scheduling team focused on day-to-day tactical tasks
  • Provide input to the creation of a strategic roadmap and be responsible for execution of TPM pillars and Lean manufacturing, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Optimize planning processes to support delivery, production, and financial (inventory) goals
  • Work with various internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and implement improvements
  • Provide direction, delegate and remove obstacles to accomplish goals
  • Support order prioritization and late order communication to customers
  • Ensure adequate coverage of the department and backup coverage
  • Conduct onboarding and cross-training for team members
  • Provide support as needed to plant operations
  • Foster a collaborative work environment
  • Other areas of responsibility could include, but are not limited to, one or more of the following:
    • Sourcing and purchasing goods and services
    • Vendor communication
    • Purchase order authorization
    • Ensuring adherence to the production schedule
    • Identifying/correcting potential production problems
    • Order level service
    • Planning for NPIs


Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field of study
  • 5 years of Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing experience 
  • Experience leading and/or developing others
  • Proficiency with an ERP, advanced planning system, analytical system or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate others
  • Leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive decisions and build consensus among stakeholders
  • Experience navigating through ambiguous and complex situations
  • Some experience in resolving conflict situations effectively, with minimal noise
  • No immigration sponsorship is available for this role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced technical or business degree
  • Experience in operational excellence and project management such as TPM, Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, Green Belt, etc.
  • APICS Certification
  • Direct people management experience
  • Strong business acumen and experience collaborating with Operations, Marketing and Customers

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $85,900.00 - $128,900.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
