Role Overview

The API Partnership Channel Product Owner will be responsible for bringing structure clarity and disciplined prioritization to API partnership channel delivery This role will serve as the effective product and delivery owner for APIdriven B2B and B2B2C partnership capabilities ensuring the team focuses on the highestvalue work revenuedriven outcomes and predictable execution

The ideal candidate is a strong Product Owner who can manage competing priorities reduce delivery chaos create a clear backlog make timely decisions and drive alignment across Sales Business Architecture Engineering QA Operations and Partnerfacing teams

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the API Partnership Channel product backlog roadmap priorities epics user stories and acceptance criteria in JIRA

Bring discipline and structure to intake prioritization backlog grooming sprint planning delivery tracking and release readiness

Act as the primary product and delivery owner for API partnership initiatives ensuring clear ownership from idea through acceptance and launch

Work closely with Sales and Business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives based on revenue impact partner value strategic alignment urgency and delivery feasibility

Translate business and partner needs into clear actionable requirements for Architecture and Engineering teams

Collaborate with Architecture and Engineering to ensure API solutions are scalable secure reusable and aligned with enterprise standards

Manage competing stakeholder demands and drive tradeoff decisions to keep teams focused on the most valuable outcomes

Support B2B and B2B2C partner integration capabilities including partner onboarding interface requirements data flows and API consumption needs

Act as a crossfunctional consultant across Business Sales Technology QA Operations and Partnerfacing teams

Drive alignment remove ambiguity escalate blockers and make timely decisions on product scope priorities defects and release readiness

Participate in UAT and PAT planning validation acceptance and final signoff

Track delivery outcomes against business value revenue goals partner impact operational readiness and delivery commitments

Think ahead on future API partnership opportunities digital distribution models and scalable channel capabilities

Required Skills Experience

Strong Product Owner experience with proven ability to bring order to complex fastmoving and ambiguous delivery environments

Strong understanding of APIs interfaces integrations and digital platform capabilities

Experience with B2B and B2B2C business models partner channels or digital distribution platforms

Proven experience managing product backlogs priorities user stories epics acceptance criteria and delivery workflows in JIRA

Ability to prioritize based on business value revenue impact risk technical feasibility dependency management and delivery capacity

Strong delivery ownership mindset with the ability to drive execution followthrough and accountability across teams

Experience working closely with Sales Business Architecture Engineering QA and Operations teams

Strong agile delivery understanding including backlog refinement sprint planning dependency management release readiness and acceptance processes

Excellent communication stakeholder management facilitation negotiation and decisionmaking skills

Ability to work independently manage ambiguity challenge unclear priorities and drive measurable outcomes

Preferred Skills

Understanding of travel retail industry standards and ecosystem models including OTAs NDC travel distribution partner integrations and digital commerce channels

Experience with partnerfacing APIs API products developer portals API documentation partner onboarding or integration platforms

Familiarity with REST APIs JSON web services authentication authorization API versioning monitoring and governance

Experience supporting commercial sales partnership travel mobility rental ecommerce or digital distribution teams
