Job Scope
The Associate Product Manager is responsible for maximizing the value and profitability of Victaulic's mechanical product lines throughout their lifecycle-from launch support through maturity and end-of-life management. This role is technical at its core: you will work closely with engineers, understand how our products perform in the field, and apply that knowledge to drive portfolio decisions. The Associate Product Manager will analyze product performance, drive optimization initiatives, and manage portfolio rationalization efforts to ensure our product lines remain competitive and profitable. This role combines engineering insight with strategic thinking, offering hands-on experience across a global industrial product portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Finance, Sales or related field
3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment; experience in project management, product management, or technical sales a plus
Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel proficiency including financial modeling and data analysis
Solid understanding of product development processes and cross-functional collaboration
Ability to evaluate product and program performance using financial and field data, including margin analysis and cost drivers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated project coordination experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives
Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Strategic Influence and Communication - Develops clear and specific rationales tailored to different internal groups and external customers. Predicts others' concerns and objections and develops specific influence strategies to overcome them, strong executive communication.
Global Thinker - Makes decisions sensitive to the varied markets and organizations served. Harmonizes objectives to minimize waste and redundancy.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
