This role is designed for a high-performing new graduate (Bachelor's or Master's) who is analytical, organized, and excited to learn how to build enterprise SaaS products used by security teams. You will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, UX, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, and Marketing to help define requirements, support delivery, and drive adoption of features that matter to customers. This role is based on-site in El Segundo, CA.
Key Responsibilities
Product Discovery & Requirements
- Learn customer use cases and pain points (SOC operations, identity, insider risk, data pipelines) through calls, tickets, and field feedback.
- Help write clear product requirements (user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, edge cases).
- Assist in defining MVP scope and success metrics for features.
Delivery Support
- Support sprint planning and backlog grooming; ensure stories are ready for engineering execution.
- Coordinate with engineering and UX to clarify requirements, prioritize tradeoffs, and remove blockers.
- Participate in QA/validation with test scenarios to confirm features meet acceptance criteria.
Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner with Customer Success and Support to triage product issues and contribute to root-cause prioritization.
- Support Sales Engineering with product clarity: feature behavior, constraints, and roadmap-aligned guidance.
- Contribute to release readiness: release notes inputs, enablement notes, and internal announcements.
Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Track feature adoption and outcomes; help identify opportunities to improve usability and performance.
- Maintain product documentation artifacts: PRDs, customer-facing FAQs (internal), and decision logs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data/Analytics, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3.5 GPA (overall or in major).
- Strong analytical ability (structured thinking, problem decomposition, basic data analysis in Excel/Sheets).
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on-site in El Segundo, CA and collaborate in person across teams.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
- Internship or project experience in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, enterprise software, or product roles.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum concepts and tools (Jira/Confluence or similar).
- Comfort with SQL basics, APIs, or log/data concepts (helpful in security analytics products).
- Experience writing specs, running structured projects, or leading cross-functional student teams.
Core Competencies
- Ownership mindset; dependable follow-through
- Strong prioritization and time management
- Clear communicator who can translate technical details into user outcomes
- Curious, coachable, and comfortable operating in ambiguity
