    Description

    The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking a fellowship trained Neuropathologist. The position is at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor commensurate with the candidate''s experience and qualifications. Candidate must hold a medical degree (M.D. or equivalent), be board-eligible or certified in AP/CP or AP pathology and neuropathology. Duties include diagnostic services in neuropathology and participation in autopsy/brain examination. Additional service capability in general surgical pathology is a plus. The faculty member is expected to participate in teaching residents and medical students, and in scholastic research in a neuropathology area, such as neurodegeneration. The candidate must qualify for an unrestricted medical license in the State of Louisiana.
