POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Associate Project Manager supports the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic and operational projects across hospital-based radiology client sites. This role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional efforts, maintaining project structure and accountability, and ensuring timelines, risks, and deliverables are actively managed. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders in a fast-paced healthcare environment. 

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: 

  • Support the planning and execution of multiple concurrent projects across radiology and hospital-based operations  
  • Maintain project plans, timelines, milestone trackers, and risk logs to ensure visibility and accountability  
  • Track deliverables and proactively identify risks, delays, or dependencies; escalate issues as appropriate  
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across hospital stakeholders, physicians, IT/informatics, vendors, and internal teams  
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings; prepare agendas, document key decisions, and track action items  
  • Ensure timely follow-up on deliverables and reinforce accountability across stakeholders  
  • Assist in aligning operational workflows with contractual obligations and performance expectations  
  • Prepare clear, concise project status updates and executive-level reporting  
  • Support implementation of clinical systems, process improvements, and workflow optimization initiatives  
  • Reinforce consistent project management standards, tools, and documentation across all initiatives 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred  
  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, healthcare operations, or a related environment  
  • Experience in healthcare, radiology, or hospital-based services strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, or similar)  
  • Ability to analyze workflows and identify operational improvement opportunities  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level communication 
  • Confidence interacting with physicians, clinical leadership, and senior stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods 
  • Visual acuity sufficient to interpret detailed diagnostic images 
  • Manual dexterity to operate computer systems and imaging software 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff
  • Occasional movement throughout clinical and office environments
