Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid (twice monthly onsite; 10% travel within Bay Area)

Job Summary:
The Project Manager supports electric transmission and distribution projects by managing scope, schedule, and cost for low to medium complexity initiatives. This entry-level role works within Electric Operations to ensure safe and reliable energy delivery while coordinating cross-functional teams and supporting infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and cost with oversight and guidance
  • Adjust project scope and timelines with sponsor approval
  • Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Communicate project status regularly to stakeholders
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Develop and maintain project financial forecasts and cash flow tracking
  • Ensure timely ordering of materials and resources
  • Maintain accurate project documentation
  • Lead and coordinate project teams and resources
  • Identify performance issues and implement corrective actions
  • Apply quality standards and review project deliverables
  • Manage scheduling, tasks, and operations using project tools
  • Coordinate vendor activities and track deliverables
  • Develop detailed work plans including schedules, costs, and resources
  • Obtain necessary approvals and track project performance metrics
  • Promote project objectives aligned with company goals
  • Support Standards & Work Methods initiatives and documentation updates
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
  • 1–2 years of experience in project management, engineering, construction, or project controls
  • Valid Class C California Driver’s License (or ability to obtain by Day 1)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to manage projects with limited supervision
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Nice-to-Have Experience:
  • Experience in utilities, electric operations, or infrastructure projects
  • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
