Associate Purchasing Analyst - Polaris
Location: Plymouth, MN
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00
Schedule: Full-time; onsite for training (first 2–4 weeks), then hybrid schedule upon manager approval (onsite Tuesday–Thursday)
Job Type: Contract | 6-month assignment with potential for extension
About the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with Polaris to hire an Associate Purchasing Analyst in Bass Creek, MN. In this role, you will help ensure products are delivered on time by managing supplier relationships, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating purchasing activities with internal teams. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with supply chain or purchasing experience who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to support on-time delivery and improve supplier performance
Review and approve purchase orders while collaborating with demand planning teams to maintain inventory goals
Monitor and resolve backorder issues to support customer service and inventory objectives
Maintain supplier information, including costs, lead times, minimum order quantities, and related purchasing data
Partner with internal departments and suppliers to negotiate terms, resolve issues, and support business goals
Identify and communicate urgent supply chain issues to management
Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned

What You Need to Bring

Bachelor's degree preferred
At least one year of supply chain, purchasing, logistics, inventory management, or related experience
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and Conditional Formatting
Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset
Ability to negotiate, influence, and resolve conflicts professionally
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision #metrocareers
