Job TitleAssociate, Quality EngineerJob Code40759Job LocationCincinnati, OHJob Schedule4/10: Employees work 10‑hour days, 4 days a weekJob DescriptionL3Harris is seeking a new graduate to support quality initiatives by helping develop and maintain processes that ensure products and materials meet required standards and customer expectations. In this role, the individual will work with cross‑functional teams and customers to review quality performance, address issues, and support improvement efforts across operations. The position also offers experience in investigating nonconformances, contributing to corrective actions, and assisting with quality documentation and customer communications.Essential FunctionsDevelop and implement quality processes and procedures using statistical quality control statistics and analyses.Collaborate with both internal (Operations, Engineering, and Program Management) as well as external customers to ensure quality standards are in place and are being properly executed.Determine root cause for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications and implement effective corrective action as needed.Write inspection procedures and assist in reviewing and evaluating in‑process rejections and obtaining proper product dispositions.Analyze quality performance for factory and collaborate with Operations Engineers to develop improvement plans for identified problem areas.Serve as primary customer quality interface which may include having to conduct customer business briefings.QualificationsEligibility: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Quality Sciences or related field, or completed bachelor's degree within the last 12 months.Preferred skills: Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Yellow or Green Belt.L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
