Job Summary
Under supervision supports real estate activities associated with leasing, acquisition, and disposition of real property. Supports negotiations for binding agreements from private landowners, corporations, or government agencies to permit the construction of facilities. Types of facilities include offices, warehouses, generating power stations, and land for renewable generation projects (solar, storage and wind). Works closely with Real Estate Analysts and Sr. Real Estate Analysts supporting, reviewing and preparing legal correspondence and documents, to acquire interest in real estate. Supports identification of ownership of surface and subsurface real estate interests for affected properties. Assists liaison between landowner and company. Inspects property and utilizes public information and comparable real estate information to determine value. Investigates damage claims, assesses damages and negotiates settlements. Interprets, creates, and enforces land, leasehold or easements rights. Coordinates efforts with input from inside and outside legal counsel. Responds to business unit requests to interpret real estate documents. Assists in guiding business unit projects involving real estate. Supports property due diligence, financial analyses for business case development, and market analyses. Develop management recommendations. Works with national real estate firm for market data. Assists in the preparation of strategies for negotiation of property sales, purchases, and lease buyouts. Supports the interface with legal counsel for appropriate real estate decisions. Processes required real estate payments.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
0-2 years of relevant experience in directly related field.
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

The expected hiring base salary range is the range we anticipate hiring within for this position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and work location.
