What You'd Be Doing

Our purpose is to help people and companies grow - candidates, clients, and the people on our own team. We connect engineers, project managers, estimators, superintendents, and technical professionals with companies building the infrastructure, energy systems, and construction projects the country depends on. (If you just read “engineers, estimators, and superintendents” and thought “I don’t know any of that” - that’s fine. We’ll give you the foundation, and every conversation builds on it.)

As an Associate Recruiter, you’ll be sourcing and screening candidates, building talent pipelines, and coordinating interviews between qualified candidates and our senior recruiters. At its core, this job is about talking to people. The more people you talk to, the better you get.

That human connection is the part that matters most, and it’s the part we protect. We’ve built AI into how we work across the company to handle the repetitive work so you move faster and spend your energy where it counts: building real relationships with real people and making a real impact.

No Experience Preferred

Almost nobody has recruiting on their radar when they start thinking about what’s next. For the right person, it checks the boxes that matter most: growth, opportunity, and purpose. Our last few hires came from a bank, a college campus, and door-to-door sales. What they had in common wasn’t a background in recruiting. It was curiosity, a competitive streak, and the grit to keep going when things got hard.

What they’ll tell you is this job has a way of teaching you things about yourself you didn’t expect. It sharpens how you think, communicate, and read people - skills that follow you everywhere.

The people here work hard and have a lot of fun doing it. Together we play fantasy football, hold a highly competitive annual chili cook-off, play bags while cooking out for lunch, and run summer events like Office Olympics and Office Survivor. New hires don’t start without a Steamboat BBQ lunch their first week; if you know, you know. The conference table converts into a ping pong table, and yes - it gets used. There’s also the orange ball, but you’ll have to ask us about that one.
