Job Description

This position is responsible for the following: Develop and maintain course and catalog data base system and establish, maintain, and coordinate class schedules and academic room allocations

Analyze course offerings to develop strategic outcomes for the University

Tactically analyze room assignments and processes/procedures

Directly support the Registrar, providing functional assistance as needed

Oversee and maintain the year-round room reservation and scheduling system for all academic spaces, including troubleshooting problems

Oversee all course and catalog input/output programs

Direct and coordinate system upgrades for all scheduling software

Support and assist with system and bundle upgrades for the student information system (MyView)

Direct the administrative functions of 25Live, including building cabinets, user access, and troubleshooting while also serving as a Functional Technical Administrator for 25Live including upgrades and troubleshooting

Oversee the creation and coordination of the final exam schedule and final exam process via 25Live and MyView

Create and coordinate the Academic Calendars in PeopleSoft

Oversee instructor assignments, faculty load reporting and FERPA requirements

Maintain the One Canvas instructor roles, while also documenting and communicating changes as needed

Maintain and manage the post-requisite checking process

Attend committee meetings/sit on committees to enhance the student experience/retention rates through curriculum and scheduling process improvements

Attend departmental and campus-wide meetings to stay up to date on concerns and changes affecting the Office of the Registrar

Oversee grade submission practices for timely academic standing results

Oversee FERPA authorization, troubleshoot MyView access, and review security requests for student information system

Supervise and give support to direct reports under the Curriculum and Scheduling pillar of the Office of the Registrar

Effectively work with a wide variety of individuals within and outside the University and build relationships with other campuses

Oversee the maintenance of the Curriculum and Scheduling portion of the website and assist in updating other portions of the Registration website

Shift

40 hours/week Monday - Friday

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Masters degree in a related field and a minimum of four years of related experience (preferably academic and room scheduling in a higher education setting). Possess formal supervisory/management responsibilities. Managing personnel issues, including work allocation, training, and performance evaluation. Administrative experience with CourseLeaf Section Scheduler (CLSS) and CollegeNET 25Live class scheduling software.

Anticipated Hiring Range
