We provide quality resources in four specialty areas: Information Technology (IT), Clinical Research, Rehabilitation Therapy and Nursing.Job DescriptionSpecific responsibilities will include:Generation of reagents, such as CRISPR/Cas9 sgRNA, targeting vector, and bacterial artificial chromosome, to be used for genetic engineering in mice.Validation of reagents using in vitro cleavage assay, PCR-based methods and DNA sequencing.Genotyping of models using PCR, qPCR, Southern blot and sequencing.Independently review the relevant literature to understand and propose the best methods that can be applied to the needs of the group.Interacting with peers and collaborators in a professional manner and productively.Keep abreast of, and use, state-of-the-art technologies for generation of new GEMs.Prepare, review and deliver scientific presentations for internal/external use.QualificationsQualifications include:BS with at least 5 years or MS with at least three years of molecular biology experience in either academic or industry setting.In depth knowledge and experience implementing molecular cloning techniques, particularly recombineering using bacterial artificial chromosomes.Experience culturing and targeting embryonic stem cells.Basic knowledge of mouse genetics.Basic understanding genetic engineering in mice.Experience using the nuclease technology, including CRISPR/Cas, TALEN and ZFN, will be given special consideration.Warm regards,Jay KaushikClinical RecruiterIntegrated Resources, Inc
