Our client is seeking a dedicated Associate Scientist to support laboratory experiments, data analysis, and protocol development. This role requires a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical chemistry or related fields, with experience in laboratory techniques such as HPLC or physical property testing. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform experiments in accordance with established protocols to generate consistent and reliable data.
  • Organize, analyze, and interpret experimental results, providing clear documentation and insights.
  • Develop and implement new laboratory protocols to improve efficiency and data quality.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain standard laboratory equipment, including HPLC, CE, and physical property testing instruments.
  • Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team, communicating findings and recommendations clearly.
  • Contribute to internal and external reports, presentations, regulatory documents, and patents.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and participate in departmental safety and support initiatives.
  • Assist in training or supervising other team members as needed.
  • Organize resources and coordinate activities to meet project deadlines and objectives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, or a related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience in a biopharmaceutical environment.
  • Proficiency in operating laboratory instruments such as HPLC, CE, and physical property testing equipment.
  • Strong data analysis and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively to team efforts.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
