Associate Service Technician – Commercial HVAC & Plumbing

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Field-Based)

Location: Field Operations - Vancouver, WA (travel required as needed)

Hourly rate: $28 to $35

Job Overview

As an Associate Service Technician, you will perform start-ups, tuning, troubleshooting, and repairs for commercial HVAC and plumbing systems, including pumps, boilers, water heaters, chillers, and VFDs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform start-ups, troubleshooting, tuning, and warranty repairs on CHC product lines.
• Verify equipment setup and programming according to manufacturer manuals.
• Set up and troubleshoot communication interfaces with Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Measure voltage up to 480V and perform wiring between electrical panels and equipment.
• Provide operational guidance and training to customers and maintenance staff.
• Maintain provided company vehicle and manage truck tool inventory.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial experience with HVAC, plumbing, boiler, or pumping equipment.
• License: EPA 608 License (Type II or Universal).
• Driver's License: Clean driving record.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using tablets, laptops, diagnostic tools, and Microsoft 365.

• Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime and travel/stay overnight when business demands require.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED

Bonus Points!

• Knowledge of direct digital controls and VFDs
• Relevant licenses in HVAC, EPA, electrical, plumbing, or boilers, where applicable
• Associate’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, HVAC, Plumbing, or Boilers
